For all those parents who make their way to the cool "Olympic" playground in Whistler Village, I have the dish on a great soup for after you have stood in the cold watching your little ones play in the cool tree structure or the rolly slide. The inside scoop is this great soup called the Wicked Chicken Thai Soup at The Little Eatery @ Celebration Plaza. It was most definitely wicked!!! It was so good, I had to pass this incredible find on! It was $6.95 and it came with bread. Apparently they do Kids Parties, birthday parties and Catering as I am looking at my bill. Just thought I would pass on this great find for all those parents who will be freezing very soon for the love of the children's playground!! Enjoy!

Those very active Pemberton Seniors have invited the Growing Great Children group and any children and their parents to their Nairn Falls Potluck and BBQ on Friday May 22 at 12pm. Everyone is welcome! It will be a great time to get to know many of the great seniors in our community and have lunch in a lovely spot too! We will double check on the weather and rain back up plan and keep you posted. The Potluck starts at high noon so we hope to see you all there. Bring your favourite dish! Lindsay, the seniors coordinator is supplying the burgs and dogs. It is the first of many events that we plan on having with the Seniors! So come on out and meet other parents, kids and active community members. Please call LIndsay at 604-905-9347 and let her know that you will be attending so she can make sure she has enough BBQ supplies.

Hi! Thought I'd try my hand at the blog!... A few days ago when I was looking for something else online, I ended up at this page of desert recipes that seem to go on and on and on - don't go there if you're trying to avoid sweets! The author of this page tries to post a new recipe almost every day. She ads comments and thoughts to her recipes and there is a space for others to comment too. It's quite fantastic. So, here's the link: http://www.cookiemadness.net/ I hope it works!
Have a great long weekend! Tara
