Pirate and Princess Playdate - March 31st 10am-1pm

It is time again for the imaginary world of pirates and princesses !!!  Growing Great Children is excited to host the second annual pirates and princess playdate at the Pemberton community centre on Saturday March 31st from 10 am until 1pm.  There will be crafts, pirate ship bouncy castle, new friends, treasures and lots of make believe fun!  This is a family event aimed at children 0-6.  Parent participation/supervision is a must!  What a great way to spend a saturday with your kids!  Don't forget to dress in costume!

Please spread the word to all your friends, princesses and pirates alike!  Feel free to download the poster and hang it up around Pemberton!

A Night of Science World in Pemberton - January 12, 2012

On January 12, 2012, Signal Hill Elementary will host Science World for a FREE event. A Night of Family Science will be held from 6pm - 9pm in the Gym. All are welcome to attend. For more information on the event, please see the post on their blog at www.SignalHillPAC.com They are still looking volunteers if you are free and want to get involved!

Family Day in Squamish - Saturday September 17th. Check it out !

 

Canada Day Parade - Come and join us in the parade!

GGC is going to put in a parade entry again this year for the famous Pemberton Canada Day Parade.  And we would love to have any parents and children who want to go in the parade join us!  We are going dressed as ranchers, farmers, railroad conductors, cowboys or cowgirls, settlers potatoes, or whatever you have kicking around the house.  The theme is all about the history of Pemberton!  The kids can walk, ride their bikes, ride their broomstick horses, ride in wagons, trains or strollers!  Some of the parents are decorating their wagons like trains or covered wagons.  Or just dress up the kids and use your wagon or stroller!  It is very no frills and the more the merrier!!!  We will meet around 10:35am  in front of the Centennial Cafe.  So come on out and join the fun!  And of course bring your Canada flags!

Teddy Bear Picnic - Saturday June 25th at the Pemberton Community Centre

The Teddy Bear picnic this year starts at 9:30 - 11:30.  Sorry for any confusion from our monthly calendar.  I believe they changed the time.  Not sure what happened but regardless, it is this Saturday the 25th at 9:30!  So get those Teddies ready and hope to see you there!  GGC will be there with lots of Bubble fun, rubber ducks and Teddy bear frames to take home.
