Happy New Year from Growing Great Children! It is time for our first meeting of 2011! The meeting will be held at 7:30pm on Wednesday January 26 at the Sea to Sky Community Services office. For those who don't know where that is, it is on Aster Street beside Bog's - the Fabric and Wool shop. We are always looking for new members, fresh ideas and enthusiasm. So come on out and get involved! We are a fun group who are passionate about helping to create a wonderful environment for the children of Pemberton to grow up in. Creating new events and resources, maintaining existing programs, hosting workshops, having a presence, and helping bridge that gap between child and community.
Lastly, if you have any child-related events, products, workshops, books, toys, blogs or websites, or anything that you think that other parents would enjoy hearing about, please email growing great children and we can put it on the blog. Especially during the winter when many of us feel isolated and disconnected.
