Back on Track - Growing my own great children :)

Well, after many months of foggy pregnancy brain and baby brain, I am once again feeling ready to start posting blog entries again for Growing Great Children.  I feel it is important to keep the webpage/blog active even though it seems Facebook seems to be where everywhere looks these days for any information.  All of our events for the past 6 months have been posted and promoted using Facebook and not much on this blog.  I apologize for that.  However I do feel that Facebook changes so much all the time that we should keep this forum going as well. Just in case Facebook goes sideways.  I welcome feedback as to whether the families in Pemberton use this webpage at all.  It is good to keep up with what people want and find most usual and efficient.

New Trees at the Water Park this summer!

New Child Minding at the Pemberton Community Centre for Wednesday mornings

Attention all you fitness lovers, the long awaited child minding at the community centre has finally arrived!!! On wednesday mornings for the value added classes there is child minding available.  However you must call in and register for it. Please try and utilize this new service if you can or else the community centre will think it isn't necessary and may discontinue it.  Even if you can't make the wednesday class, please give them feedback and tell them how happy you are etc!! And make mention when might be a good time!!! Perhaps they can change the time or something. We don't want to lose this!!!  And if no one is using it, they will cancel it most likely. So this is the plug for today.  Our GGC members fought hard to get this going so please lets make it a success!!!

 

Growing Great Children now on Facebook!

Well, wish us luck as we try and submerge Growing Great Children into the social networking world on the internet.  Please let us know if there is any great information, articles, craft ideas, stuff for sale etc that we can pass on to the parents of Pemberton.  We are also very keen to have any input or ideas for the blog to help make the most of our local Pemberton parent and community network.  We will be posting more than in the past as we are slowly getting the hang of this blog thing.
